I had to go to Scotland at the end of November because I wasn't brave enough to make the decision to go to Scotland before," why am I always scared of going to Scotland?" mainly because I watched the TV series called " Lip Service", which is about lesbians in Glasgow. Glasgow does looks like a cool city in the TV series though. I picked up all my warm clothes, and a wind-water-proof jacket, warm wool hat, scarf and gloves and we headed on our way.
First of all we took the National Express bus to Edinburgh, we rented a car from there, and picked up three friends, and started our trip. Someone randomly chose "Fort William" as our destination, well it seems no one rejected it, so that's how we chose! The only problem was, no one knows where Fort William is! There we go. An adventure in the boring dreary winter!
After about an hours drive, we felt three of us sitting in the back seat wasn't a good and comfortable situation, someone really needs to stretch! We reached somewhere called "Helensborough", where there is a Tesco Express on the other side of the road, but instead of going there as planned, we couldn't tear ourselves away from the scenery across the road. We spent half an hour
standing in the wind, enjoying the view, until we realise how desperate we are to have some food and water and go to the toilet. Look at the view, in reality they are much better than the photos!!!
A lot of sea weed, not only in the water but also on the sea shore, and grass. I guess the sea level can raise really high, otherwise the sea weeds couldn't of reached the roads.
I do envy this house, very much, and the people who live in that house! Not only because that house is amazingly big, but then take a look at the balcony as well; the well decorated balcony with flowers and comfortable chairs, people sitting there can see the beautiful scenery everyday, day or night, in every season.
The view, wow!!!
The view!!!
The view with sea weeds.
A short break, then we headed on our way again.
The sun is going down behind the right mountain in this photo, and the stone I sat on started to get colder and colder. We had to get back in the car and start our journey again, everyone knows what sunset means here, darkness is coming veeery soon!
Later on, we reached Glen Coe, one of "the most stunning places in the Scottish Highlands"
Now we are very close to the snow peaked mountains.
Okay, now, after a long day driving, and pausing and suffering coldness outside, we finally arrived Fort William, a place we hardly knew,it was the time to have dinner, and I was desperate to have a big glass of red wine, maybe a Whisky if I am lucky!!! Sorry no photos, it's very very very dark already! At 5:30pm!!!
